        • Purpose- wants to official to make it easier to recruit
        • Many Schools are involved/ U of I, Call Poly
        • It is a National competition
        • At IIT since 2012-13
          • last years team won overall competition
        • 10 current members
        • Recruiting through MMAE classes, hawklink, Blog, social recruitment, paper materials
        • Programming- Show and Tell of previous projects and workshops 
        • Budget- $500-recruitment, parts, social events, travel

        • How was it previously funded?
          • Through Armour
        • Is it an annual competition
          • Yes, now being hosted in midwest
        • Clarification on Budget requests
          • answer not clear, unsure of process
        • Is this through a class?
          • No, recruitment
        • Has the bike been changed
          • It changes every year
        • Do you have an Exec Board structure
          • We will implement one
        • How do you include everyone in the process
          • As the club grows, will develop 2 bikes
        • Do you have plans to showcase bike on blog
          • Yes, the blog was designed to show development and finished product
        • How will your funding shift if you become an org
          • Does not exactly know, will most likely continue with funding source, will dabble in SAF

        • His knowledge of how a student org works is limited
        • We should follow up with them when starting the org

        • It is a growing sport
        • discussed rules of handball
        • they need playing field, the ball, and nets
          • provided pricing for ball and net

        • What are the eventual goals of the club
          • At first, to build a community and then to eventually attend competitions
        • Do you have an organizational structure
          • Planning to implement one
        • Did you talk to Courtney Bud
          • Yes, and Usha Gilmore, they said they need to be an org to rent space at Keating
        • How will you recruit
          • We have a handball social, hawklink, physical posters, word of mouth
        • Have you discussed with Keating (Courtney Bud) about how often you will meet
          • would like to meet twice a week

      • Volunteering at Haunted House 10/28
        • 4-6 set up, 6-8 Haunted House
        • would like 3-5 volunteers for each time slot

        • Com Com had an update article
      • Working on website updates
        • will be sending out Google Forms for website Senate profiles updates
      • Liaison Project
        • Pushing it back to organize it
    • Student Life
      • Last meeting we brainstormed
        • Current Projects:
          • OTS; SGA Channel and Drop box
          • Vending Machine improvements, healthier options
          • Facilities- Speed control on campus
            • We want speed signs to slow cars down
        • FAB (Food Advisory Board) meeting Oct 28th at 4 PM at Pritzker Club
    • Finance Board
      • Second Hearing occurred Saturday
        • $280,000 asked for; $160,000 allocated
      • Currently taking special hearing requests, submit on Hawklink
        • Any denied hearings can be appealed to J Board
    • Judicial Board
      • No appeals yet
      • Open Senate Seats
        • College of Architecture- 2,School of Applied Technology- 1, College Science- 2
          • Vote- Passed 16-2-0
          • Nominations for those Senate seats are now open
  • Open floor
    • Nathan- We need feedback for redesigning Stuart Building
      • more colors, open space, it’s going to be blue/green, more women’s bathrooms, outdoor space to study like Life Sciences
      • Chris Gladwin, founder of Cleversafe, donated the money
        • he wants to design a cross walk like MTCC by stuart Field
      • College of Science senators should reach out to CS students for feedback
    • Questions:
      • Is the money for Stuart specifically
        • the campaign is, yes
      • Did you run a survey with CS students
        • not yet
  • Student Athlete Advisory Committee
    • Concern: will this set precedent for other student orgs to want Senators
    • It’s good to have athletes represented when we have questions for them
    • Athletes have a unique experience on campus
    • Question for SAAC representative Olivia
      • they want a presence in SGA
      • they feel they are in  their own little world, disconnected from campus
    • Concern: Athletes will be over represented compared to everyone else
    • Can we find a way to add intramural sports to representative so its equitable to all students
