          • Events will hopefully attract new members

        • We should wait until they hold a meeting and establish an exec board
          • One of the things we stressed last semester is getting new orgs approved and then help them along the way

      • Presentation
        • Goals:become an official chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon , an international honor society and help with high school to college transition
        • Have the department backing them up, faculty advisor Matthew Bauer
        • 72 eligible undergraduates, 280 grads
        • Budget: $1200 registration fee for Upsilon Pi Epsilon
        • Events: Planned induction dinner and mentoring event

          • Will be attending their events + CS department will be hosting a meeting to talk about how they can work with the other organizations more

        • What are the challenges SGA faces while planning events
          • You must plan 4 weeks in advance and advertise 2 weeks in advance, your members must show up
        • What are your strengths and weaknesses
          • Im organized, a great network, I’ve led committees like this before
          • IIT is challenging and i need to garner support throughout the year, now just during the lull times in classes

        • What made Adeena qualified more than any other candidate
          • She knows her stuff, she has run successful events for MSA and UB

        • Is there a public suggestion framework to the academic advising discussions

        • Would like to start some sort of program to encourage students to ride it

      • 3 new FB candidates: Vishnav Ashok, Muneeb Yawari, Shruti Khetan
      • Questions
        • Why do you want the position, why are you qualified
          • Visnav- RHA treasurer, decision making ability, always been interested in finance
          • Shruti- want to be more involved on campus, has previously worked with budgets in a professional setting.
          • Muneeb- Managed start up’s budgets, spent multiple summers at finance firm

    • Executive Elections Discussion
      • Everyone doing their job in SGA will be the biggest driver to a successful election
      • We need to hold debates
        • Not in Center Court to loud, the acoustics is off
          • Rebuttal: Center Court has more visibility than any other auditorium
        • We need to have the visibility that Center Court offers
        • 2 debates one in MTCC, one in Hermann Hall
        • More than one debate to allow everyone to develop their platforms
          • Rebuttal: the type of people we want to attract won’t sit through a longer debate
        • Stream the debated live
        • We should use the library, it’s always full and Dean is always willing to work w/ students
        • Pritzker club is a good location, quiet, ample room for audience and is in MTCC
      • Debates are not the best way for candidates to demonstrate their abilities
        • Group interviews or discussions instead of debates
    • Food Advisory Board
      • RHA will submit a constitutional amendment to make the RHA senator the head of FAB
        • The senator will be accountable to two orgs, SGA RHA
        • No concerns were voiced by the General Assembly
