When the nomination email is received, candidate eligibility is verified with the Office of Campus Life. Afterward, the nominee will be emailed informing them of their nomination. Before they can begin campaigning, they must schedule a Candidate Orientation, complete a Candidate Packet and supply the Executive Elections Commission with a photograph of the candidate.

Candidate Debates will be held on March 25th at 4:30 in the MTCC Welcome Center.

Elections will be conducted differently this year than in previous years. The ballot URL will be released to all students in the form of a google form. They will be required to sign onto their hawk.iit.edu accounts to fill out the ballot. If multiple votes are cast from the same account, the last entry will be the only one counted. There will be a physical voting booth on campus for those who want to come out and vote and receive their "I Voted" button.
